    My aim in my professional journey is to pursue a career in Case Management. Currently, I am employed in the Healthcare sector, serving as an assistant in Medical Social Services, akin to Case Work. My responsibilities encompass aiding individuals in applying for local government assistance and programs, as well as guiding them in managing their care and devising plans to ameliorate their current circumstances. Leveraging my current job and my prospective Psychology degree equips me with the requisite experience and knowledge to thrive as a Case Manager.
  2. Out of all the activities in your life, delineate your top three highest priorities and bottom three lowest priorities.
    Highest Priorities:
    • School/Completing assignments promptly/Allocating adequate time for preparation and research.
    • Family.
    • Resting.

  4. In case of conflicts in time management among these priorities, how do you intend to prioritize your time?
    In case of conflicts, my primary focus will be on allocating sufficient time to submit assignments and prepare for assessments, thus prioritizing my educational pursuits.
  5. To accommodate school in your schedule, which activities will you need to adjust or reduce? What did you typically do during those time slots?
    My schedule is relatively straightforward. Fortunately, my job does not demand overtime or work from home. Historically, after work, I devoted time to working on assignments. During leisurely periods, I spent time with friends or family. However, with the commencement of the new billing cycle, I will reduce socializing to concentrate more on schoolwork.
  6. When unforeseen responsibilities arise, which activities in your plan will be substituted to allocate time for schoolwork?
    In the event of unforeseen obligations, I would curtail time allocated for watching TV or spending time with family to focus on advancing my academic endeavors.
  7. Devise a plan to manage schedule alterations, encompassing conflicts, issues, and technological glitches. Consider the following:
    • In the event of computer, internet, or power failures, what contingency plan will you adopt, and will this elongate your schedule?
      If faced with computer, internet, or power outages, I would resort to utilizing facilities at my local library, working from my cell phone, or borrowing a computer from a nearby family member. This would not extend my schedule as I have allotted time for such circumstances.
    • Do you pledge to adhere to this plan in achieving your career objective?
      I am fully committed to realizing my career goal. Case Management resonates deeply with me, and I am eager to pursue it upon completing my degree.

    Less time than I planned or expected.
