Cyberpsychology intersects with entrenched theories of human cognitive development but presents distinctive hurdles to mental health professionals (Norman, 2008). While HCI can perpetuate unhealthy behaviors, it also harbors the potential to amplify positive human conduct and learning (Norman, 2008). Future cyberpsychologists must devise strategies to alleviate adverse impacts while fostering beneficial outcomes.
